Hill Update on COVID-19
Washington,
March 12, 2020
WASHINGTON D.C. — Today, Rep. French Hill (AR-02) issued the following statement related to COVID-19:
“With the recently reported case of COVID-19 in our community, I want to assure Arkansans that my office and I stand at the ready to assist. I take the health of Arkansans very seriously and have been actively communicating with the Arkansas Department of Health, the Arkansas Governor’s office, as well as local and federal officials to address this outbreak. I joined my colleagues earlier this month in providing an estimated $8.3 billion in federal funds to combat COVID-19. The appropriations package included provisions specifically for state governments to mitigate the spread of this virus, including over $6 million for Arkansas. As we receive more information, I will provide updates to Arkansans, including on my website and through social media. If you have any comments or concerns, please contact me at French.Hill@mail.house.gov or call (501) 324-5941.” |
