WASHINGTON D.C. — Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021, by a bipartisan vote of 295-125. Following passage of the NDAA, Rep. French Hill (AR-02) released the following statement:
“Congress must ensure that we are effectively utilizing hardworking taxpayer dollars for our national defense priorities, which include honoring our commitment to the men and women in uniform who are making our country a safer place to live. This year’s NDAA gives our troops a much-deserved raise and fully funds our military at President Trump’s budget request. In addition, this legislation supports our airmen at the Little Rock Air Force Base and continues to include important funding for upgrading our nation’s C-130 fleet, which will ensure that LRAFB remains a center of excellence for our global airlift operations for years to come.” |
