U.K. ambassador, wife dine with Hills
By The ADG Martha and U.S. Rep. French Hill hosted a dinner Feb. 20 at their Little Rock home to welcome Sir Kim Darroch and Lady Vanessa Darroch during their four-day visit to Arkansas. Kim Darroch is an ambassador who represents the United Kingdom in Washington. He has served in D.C. since January 2016. Hill was appointed by House Speaker Paul Ryan to serve as a member of the British-American Parliamentary Group. Established in 1937, the group's mission is to provide the opportunity to share ideas and enhance bilateral relationships between members of the Houses of Parliament of the United Kingdom and members of the Houses of Congress of the United States of America.
