WASHINGTON, D.C. – Incoming House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill (R-AR) today announced that Allison Behuniak will serve as his Policy Director of the House Financial Services Committee.

Behuniak has worked in the U.S. House of Representatives for nearly a decade, serving on the House Financial Services Committee for half of that time. She most recently served as the Digital Assets Subcommittee Staff Director on the House Financial Services Committee, where she helped push forward then-Subcommittee Chairman Hill’s priorities. Prior, she worked on the Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets and the Task Force on Financial Technology. She also previously handled the financial services portfolios for former members Rep. Trey Hollingsworth (R-IN) and Rep. Bruce Poliquin (R-ME).

“Allison and I have worked closely together for many years, including our critical work in driving forward policies for digital assets that will keep innovation in America while protecting consumers and investors. Allison has exceptional knowledge of not only financial services policy, but the ins and outs of our Committee and Congress as a whole. I am delighted she will continue her service on the House Financial Services Committee as my Policy Director.”
