RELEASE: REP. HILL KEEPS OUR GOVERNMENT OPEN BY SUPPORTING THE AMERICAN RELIEF ACT
WASHINGTON, D.C.,
December 20, 2024
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today released the following statement after the House passed H.R. 10545, the American Relief Act, 2025, which keeps our government funded through March 14, 2025.
"I supported the American Relief Act to provide critical aid to our nation’s farmers, deliver much-needed disaster relief to hard-hit states by the recent devastating storms, and fund our government while we finish our appropriations work. I commend President Trump, Speaker Johnson, and House Leadership for their strong collaboration. While there is more work to be done, today was a step in the right direction. House Republicans delivered a win for the American taxpayers and took care of outstanding priorities so we can focus on President Trump’s agenda and hit the ground running together when he is sworn into office in January." |
