LITTLE ROCK, AR – Rep. French Hill (R-AR) and Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-PA), Co-Chairs of the Friends of a Free, Stable, and Democratic Syria Caucus in the House, issued the following statement in the wake of the unfolding situation in Syria: 

“We are closely monitoring fast-moving developments out of Syria, where opposition forces are carrying out a large-scale offensive against war criminal Bashar al-Assad’s military. For nearly 14 years, Assad’s brutal regime—in coordination with the Russian and Iranian regimes—has colluded in perpetuating one of the most gruesome and deadly humanitarian crises of the 21st century. We stand with the Syrian people as they confront this murderous dictator who continues to deprive them of food, prosperity, and democracy.”
