RELEASE: REP. HILL SECURES TAX RELIEF FOR CENTRAL ARKANSANS

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. French Hill (AR-02) released the following statement after voting in support of H.R. 7024, the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act, which passed the House.
 
“Today, the House secured important tax relief for families and businesses in central Arkansas. This bipartisan tax reform legislation supports hardworking families who are struggling with record-high prices. Central Arkansans will see lower taxes, meaningful relief, and more opportunities through this bill. Families deserve a tax system that promotes work and growth for the United States, and I am proud to have supported this bill that provides much needed relief to hardworking Americans.
 
Further Background:
 
H.R. 7024 - Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act: This bill extends the Child Tax Credit for hardworking families and ensures larger families are not punished for having more children.
 
This bill also ends double taxation on businesses and workers operating in both the United States and Taiwan and extends the critical Research & Development Credit, which will create over 867,000 new American jobs and generate $58 billion in additional take-home pay for American workers.
