WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today released the following statement after House Republicans passed two more government funding bills - the Fiscal Year 2024 Legislative Branch and Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations:
“My Republican colleagues and I continued our hard work in funding our federal government by passing two more imperative appropriations bills, which include budget reductions to rein in out-of-control spending in Washington and reflect conservative values. While the Senate has passed only three appropriations bills to date, House Republicans have now passed nearly 80% of total funding which met our goals of cutting spending levels and securing conservative principles.”

These appropriations bills fund the Legislative Branch and the Department of the Interior, Environmental Protection Agency, and other related agencies, bringing the total number of appropriations bills passed by House Republicans to seven.
