WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today released the following statement after House Republicans passed the Fiscal Year 2024 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations:
 
“My vote today was for the men and women of central Arkansas and across the country because they have selflessly served and sacrificed for our nation. They deserve the benefits they were promised, and every day, the veterans on my team working morning, noon, and night and I are fighting to make sure our veterans and their families are being taken care of because it is the right thing do to for them, their families, and our nation.”

H.R. 4366 - FY 2024 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations: This bill provides funding to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (Military Construction and Family Housing), which will strengthen national security by funding focused military investments and accountability for the executive branch, enhance efficiency of care and delivery of benefits through supporting the electronic health record modernization initiative, and more.
 
During the House Appropriations process, Rep. Hill wrote in support of the following programs which were included in H.R. 4366:
 
  • Report language regarding Department of Veterans Affairs Women Veterans Initiative.
  • $13.56 million and report language regarding Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Enterprise Integration Data Governance.
