RELEASE: REP. HILL VOTES TO OVERRIDE PRESIDENT BIDEN’S VETO OF THE WOTUS RULE

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today supported a veto message which outlines congressional disapproval of President Biden’s veto of the WOTUS rule.

“Today, I was proud to vote with farmers, ranchers, and local officials in support to override President Biden’s terrible veto of our efforts to end the costly, massive federal overreach of WOTUS. Although Democratic lawmakers prevented this override from passing, I applaud state attorneys general suing the Biden Administration over this matter, including Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin. I look forward to seeing further action pursued at the state level both in Arkansas and across the nation.”
