RELEASE: REP. HILL SUPPORTS THE RIGHTS OF PARENTS IN THEIR CHILD’S EDUCATION

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today supported H.R 5, Parents Bill of Rights, which provides parents the right to know what their children are learning at school and the right to discuss their child’s education at school board meetings.

“Our children are our future. As a father, I know the significance of being involved in your child’s education. Parents have the right to know what their children are learning in the classroom and have the right to voice their opinion at school board meetings. During last year's campaign, House Republicans included this important priority in our Commitment to America. We will continue to put parents first to ensure their voices are heard and that their children are protected in schools across America.”

Further Background:

  • H.R. 5 – Parents Bill of Rights: This bill establishes the rights of parents to know the education of their children and requires schools to notify parents and guardians of their rights regarding their child’s education.
