RELEASE: REP. HILL STATEMENT ON HOUSE REPUBLICANS VOTING TO END THE FEDERAL OVERREACH CAUSED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today issued the following statement after House Republicans passed multiple pieces of legislation to end the government overreach caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This week, House Republicans voted to end the federal overreach that has become the norm under the Biden Administration. It is time to get Americans back to work and return to life as it was before the COVID-19 pandemic. These pandemic-related public health emergency laws have gone on for far too long.

“The bills end the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers, roll back the overly restrictive provisions of the COVID-19 public health emergency, and bring federal workers back to the office to serve the American people. I will continue to support policies that put American freedoms first and hold our government accountable.”
