RELEASE: Congressional Oversight Commission Publishes Nineteenth Report

The members of the Congressional Oversight Commission have published their nineteenth report. It is available for review here. Of note, November’s report includes an update regarding the eleven Treasury loans to businesses critical to maintaining national security, including the Treasury Department’s response to the Commission’s request for information from October 2021. To date, the Defense Department has not responded to two separate requests for information from the Commission.

The Commission's eighteen previous reports are also available for review at the Congressional Oversight Commission’s website.

The Congressional Oversight Commission is a five-person panel that was established by the CARES Act. The Commission is focused specifically on the economic stabilization efforts of the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve. The current members of the Commission are Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) and Congressman French Hill (R-Ark.).
