Rep. French Hill met with Faulkner County Farm Bureau President Chris Schaefers of Conway, Arkansas Farm Bureau State Women’s Committee member Donna Bemis of Little Rock, Pulaski County Farm Bureau board member Debbie Moreland of Roland and Conway County Farm Bureau board member Tommy Thompson of Morrilton on April 30 during Farm Bureau’s first Farm Policy Summit in Little Rock.

The two-day summit brought more than 90 Arkansas farmers and ranchers together with members of the state’s Congressional delegation and national farm policy leaders to discuss the mounting challenges facing the agriculture economy and solutions to those challenges. Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization of more than 190,000 families throughout the state working to improve farm and rural life.
