Rep. Hill Announces New Hires and Updated Staff

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today announced Brian Lee has joined his staff to serve as Senior Policy Advisor, Dlayne Tucciarone is transitioning from a Wounded Warrior Fellowship to full-time staff to serve as District Representative for Military and Veterans Affairs, and Cary Shelton has joined the Congressman’s staff to serve as Staff Assistant.

“Brian Lee’s prior experience in the House brings a wealth of policy expertise to my terrific team,” said Rep. Hill. “I look forward to working with this talented University of Arkansas graduate to best serve the men and women of central Arkansas.”

Lee, originally from Arkansas, studied at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville before completing his master’s degree at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, Austria. He has worked with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime on transnational crime and security issues in Eastern Europe, Pakistan, and Southeast Asia, in addition to the private sector in both Latin America and Northwest Arkansas. He most recently served as Senior Policy Advisor for Rep. Rick Crawford (AR-01).

“Cary Shelton previously showcased his passion for serving the men and women of central Arkansas as an intern in my office this recent spring,” said Rep. Hill. “As a central Arkansas native hailing from the University of Central Arkansas, Cary’s upbringing and experience will only further benefit the great work he will accomplish for the team.”

Cary, a long-time resident of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, relocated to Conway to pursue a degree in Criminology at The University of Central Arkansas. Shortly after graduating, Cary decided to pack his bags and move to Washington D.C. as an intern for Congressman Hill’s D.C. office. “It is a pleasure to join Congressman Hill’s team, I hope to continue upon the success, and I am proud to serve to great people of central Arkansas”. In his free time, Cary enjoys reading, playing basketball, and listening to podcasts.

“Working with Dlayne during her fellowship with my office through the Wounded Warriors Program showed me her work ethic and passion for taking care of Arkansas veterans,” said Rep. Hill. “I am proud to have her transition to my full-time veterans team to assist and improve the lives of the men and women who have selflessly served our country.”

Dlayne, originally from Montana, served in the United States Air Force as a C-130 Loadmaster. After medically retiring from the military she completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Arkansas Little Rock. After working in the private sector Dlayne was accepted as a Fellow for the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program and began working as a District Representative for Military and Veterans Affairs for Congressman French Hill’s office in Little Rock.
