All members of the Arkansas congressional delegation are reported safe after a shooting incident outside the nation's capital Wednesday morning.
Rep. Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana) was shot in Alexandria, Virginia, a House colleague told CNN, in what sources are calling an apparent "deliberate attack." A congressional staffer was also shot.
Arkansas representatives and senators took to Twitter to report they were okay:
