WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman French Hill (AR-02) released the following statement after supporting the bipartisan FY2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) conference report: “This is the 57th consecutive year that House and Senate have come together in a bipartisan fashion to authorize funding for our brave men and women in uniform and their families. I was proud to support this bill that boosts our military’s readiness, combats global terrorism, and gives military personnel a much-deserved 2.4 percent pay increase, while authorizing more than $200 million for the modernization and upgrade of our C-130 fleet, the backbone of our Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard airmen at Little Rock Air Force Base.” |
