Congressman French Hill (AR-02) issued the following statement after House Financial Services Committee Chairman Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) announced he will retire at the end of his current term:

“I congratulate my colleague and, more importantly, my friend for his more than 15 years of public service. Since joining the House in 2015, I have had the pleasure of working under Chairman Hensarling’s exceptional leadership of the Financial Services Committee and continue to admire his dedication to create an environment where Main Street businesses can grow and prosper.
