The Entrepreneurship Caucus is a bipartisan caucus that aims to address the most pressing issues facing entrepreneurs and startups throughout America.
Startup rates have fallen to near 40-year lows and the number of public companies relative to all businesses has dropped significantly since the 1970s. Labor productivity growth in the United States has stalled. Venture capital is concentrated in a handful of the largest cities in the country. We need to make it easier for startups to access capital and employees to share in the wealth creation of the companies they work at, especially if they seek to create jobs in the communities they live in.
The caucus will work with interested groups to present their ideas and events to caucus Members and staff that want to support entrepreneurs and startups in their district, create jobs through innovation, and help drive economic growth across the United States.
