As an avid hunter and sportsman, I support our Constitution and the Second Amendment. The right to bear arms is firmly established by our Constitution and has been reaffirmed by the courts on many occasions. I am committed to working with my colleagues to find practical solutions to curb gun violence; however, I cannot support policies that infringe on the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens and leave our children and families no safer than before. As a Nation, we must have a serious discussion at the local, state, and federal levels of government to find effective solutions to prevent gun violence. I am committed to the protection of Second Amendment rights for Arkansans and all American.
