Dear Friends,

These past few weeks have been challenging. Each of us has had to make adjustments, and our day-to-day life does not look the same as it did only a month ago. Through the current public health and economic crisis, many things have changed, and people have wondered what aspects of life will be different than they were. But there are glimmers of hope that we will soon be on the other side, and signs that these sacrifices have been worth it, and that lives have been saved.

I have been comforted by the things that have not changed. The generosity of Arkansans to their neighbors has not changed. This generosity has been on full display as students have come forward to 3D print personal protective equipment for our healthcare workers, as businesses have stepped up to make hand sanitizer to keep our communities healthy, and as individuals have given priority to those who are most vulnerable and helped each other through this trying time.

Our pride and resilience as Americans remain steadfast, and now is the time to put out our flags and display that pride openly. We will make it through this together.

On this Easter Sunday, I am grateful. I am thankful for my family, for my faith, for my community, and for the opportunity to serve as your representative.

I pray for the health and safety of Arkansas, and America. I wish you and your loved ones a very happy Easter.
