Dear Friend,

As of today, nearly 800,000 Arkansans have received their COVID-19 vaccination according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Vaccine development and distribution is helping to bring the pandemic to a close thanks to Operation Warp Speed.

Arkansas Department of Health is holding weekly mass COVID-19 vaccination clinics at one location in each of the Arkansas Department of Health's five public health regions across the state.

Vaccines will initially be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The state's COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline is now up and running: 1-800-985-6030. It is being staffed by 20-30 personnel from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Doses will be available to Arkansans who are currently eligible to receive a vaccine. All of Arkansans in Phase 1-B are eligible for the vaccine as of today, which covers:

  • Arkansans 65 years and older
  • Education and childcare workers
  • Police, fire, other first responders
  • Corrections workers
  • Food and Agriculture workers
  • People with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Essential Government employees
  • Grocery Store/Meal Delivery employees
  • Postal/Package Delivery Service workers
  • Public Transit workers
