Liberal leaders need to put Americans first and move forward on COVID-19 relief NOW.

While Arkansans and Americans are suffering and Republicans are working to extend critical assistance like the Paycheck Protection Act, liberal leaders are putting a bill to legalize pot on the House Floor for a vote.

That says a lot about the priorities and agendas of these liberal leaders.

I continue to call on liberal leadership to get serious about helping Americans.

We need to pass NOW a commonsense COVID-19 package that includes: 

• Extending the Paycheck Protection Program

• Giving our governors freedom to spend CARES Act money before the December 31 deadline; and

• Giving families depending on unemployment security about future benefits.
