Dear Friend,

The House of Representatives has yet to extend one area of much-needed COVID relief: the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The PPP helped Arkansas businesses keep their doors open and their staff employed, but it expired on August 8, 2020.

H.R. 8265 would extend the PPP, but it still hasn’t been brought up for a vote.

186 Members of Congress – all Republicans – have signed a petition asking Speaker Pelosi to bring it up for a vote, but it still hasn’t been brought up for a vote.

In fact, I have voted over 40 times to allow the PPP extension to come to the House Floor for a vote, but it still hasn’t been brought up for a vote.

We need to pass a COVID-19 relief package NOW that extends the Paycheck Protection Program and puts American workers, families, and small businesses first. No more waiting.

Sincerely,
Representative French Hill
