Dear Friend,

Chances are that the last time you visited any health care facility, a nurse was the first person who helped you. This is especially true during the COVID-19 pandemic where our nurses are on the front lines keeping us all safe. No matter the circumstances, nurses are dedicated to helping Arkansans in their times of greatest need.

Last week, during National Nurses’ Week, I had the pleasure of personally thanking Emergency Room Director Jayme, CNO Katie, Cheyenne, Felina, and Melissa at Saline Memorial Hospital. I appreciated having the opportunity to visit with them and CEO Michael Stewart to tell them how grateful I am for their service to the Saline County community.

Thank you to Saline Memorial Hospital for having me as their guest and thank you to all of the nurses and health care professionals serving their communities on the front lines.
