Central Arkansans have had a difficult year, but we are resilient.  It is important to me that we get Arkansans back to work, and I am doing what I can to help.

That is why on Wednesday, April 7, from 9AM CT until 1PM CT, I will be hosting a Veterans Job Fair at Sherwood Forest in Sherwood, Arkansas.  The goal is to match the men and women in uniform who laid their lives on the line for our country with companies who can provide them with life changing opportunities.

Do I need to RSVP?

You do NOT need to RSVP to this event, and questions may be directed to my office at (501) 324-5941 or online at hill.house.gov. 

What should I bring?

As a reminder, companies will be looking to hire, so be sure to bring copies of your resume and be prepared to complete a job interview.

Who can attend? 

All veterans and Arkansans seeking employment are welcome.  We will be following CDC COVID-19 guidelines, and masks and social distancing will be required.

Which companies will participate?

I expect representatives from more than 50 companies and organizations, including Walmart, UAMS, Caterpillar, Simmons Bank, Amazon, and Verizon. They will be looking to hire qualified candidates.
