Dear Friends,

Yesterday, families across Arkansas suffered damage from Hurricane Laura.

I am here to assist as you and your loved ones as Arkansas recovers from the storm.

I CAN HELP.

  • The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is prepared to help those in need and has volunteers and supplies on the ground.  They also will provide emergency funds for recovery. Local resources can be found here:  https://www.fema.gov/disasters/hurricane-laura
  • The American Red Cross is preparing to assemble shelters with enough space and supplies to accommodate up to 400 people. Resources can be found here:  https://www.redcross.org/get-help.html

ARKANSAS RESOURCES

Earlier this week, President Trump approved Governor Hutchinson’s Emergency Declaration request for Arkansas.  Additionally, Governor Hutchinson has placed search and rescue teams on standby and added personnel at the State Emergency Operations Center.

As a reminder: do not drive around barricades marking off high water and turn around; avoid downed power lines.

It is my honor to serve you.

Please contact me at (501) 324-5941 or Hill.House.Gov if I can help.

Sincerely,
Representative French Hill
