Dear Friend,
Are you self-employed and still waiting for unemployment insurance (UI)?
The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services is now accepting claims for UI from those who wouldn’t normally qualify.
Under the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), which I voted for in March as part of the CARES Act, the self-employed, independent contractors, and “gig” workers – among others – now qualify for UI.
File with the State of Arkansas at www.pua.arkansas.gov/home, Monday through Sunday, 6:00AM CT to 6:00PM CT.
Have handy proof of wages and earning information for 2019 available, such as 2019 Federal Tax Return, 2019 1099 Forms, and 2019 W-2 Form.
Contact the ADWS Monday through Saturday, 6:00AM CT to 4:00PM CT (844) 908-2178 or at www.arunemployment.com.
It is an honor to represent you as your Congressman.
Sincerely,
Congressman French Hill
