Agriculture is a top industry in Arkansas and serves as an integral part of Arkansas’s economy and heritage. Farmers across Arkansas benefit from programs funded through the Farm Bill which passed the House in June of 2018 with Congressman Hill's support. Funding in the Farm Bill included commodity, conservation, and research programs.
Last year, the Arkansas Farm Bureau honored Congressman Hill with their Friend of the Farm Bureau Award. “The Friend of Farm Bureau Award recognizes the members of Arkansas's congressional delegation who have been nominated by the state board of directors and approved by the American Farm Bureau board,” said Arkansas Farm Bureau President Randy Veach. “Each recipient has a voting record that supports Arkansas and American Farm Bureau policy and embodies the spirit of this organization.”
