MEDIA ADVISORY: TODAY: Reps. Hill & Adams, Sen. Coons, Hold Press Conference on Introduction of the Bipartisan IGNITE HBCU Excellence Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Wednesday May 19 at 2:00 PM ET, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Caucus Co-Founder and Co-Chair Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) will join HBCU Caucus co-chairs Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) and Representative French Hill (R-AR) for a press conference on the introduction of their bill, the bipartisan Institutional Grants for New Infrastructure, Technology, and Education (IGNITE) for HBCU Excellence Act. 

HBCU Caucus co-chair Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) is also co-leading the IGNITE HBCU Excellence Act in the Senate. A summary of the legislation is available here.
